Reality sinks in.

Sound the alarm, Exchange is coming.  Yes it really does sound as though it’s happening now.  I do have to ask one question, well a series of questions really, so anyone out there able to come up with real answers to any of thease??

1.  Exactly how much better than Notes did Exchange have to be to justify the cost of migrating 5000 users?

2.  If we are keeping Notes on as a Development platform, where exactly are the savings??

3. The real crunch – Is it possible to modify Outlook to add extra functionality to you Mail experience??? Something we have done to Notes and seems to be a business requirement.

Why???

Its been awfully quiet round here, but then again I am not sure anyone’s even listening.  Anyway, I think the death knell for my blog has been sounded with the announcement of a shift to a Micro$oft equivalent product.  Apparently the deal has been made the decision taken and then I’m asked to have a meeting to discuss the risk analysis of a migration.  So that’s make the decision and then do the Cost Benefit and Risk Analysis.  Someone help me understand this please???
